Voting Question: Is anyone old enough to remember the 1948 world series?

Being an Indians fan, I just bought the 1948 world series DVD and watched it. When I got to the footage of game 5, the largest crowd in World Series history, (the game where Cleveland lost and were forced to win the title on the road) during a home run I saw a big sign that said Browns vs. Brooklyn on one of the walls. I checked the records and it turns out that the Browns and Indians played on the same field that same day. (We had 2 championship teams that year, did that actually happen?) Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knew which game happened first, because I didn't even know they played frequent night games in either sport back in 1948. Actually for those of you who are too dumb. The Indians actually beat the Boston Braves in the world series, not the red sox. The Indians defeated the Red Sox in the tiebreaker which was recorded as the first playoff game in MLB history, until many years later there were no playoffs, just the world series.... Read More »
